Confidentiality

Sessions remain confidential unless there is reasonable cause for the therapist to believe you may have intent to harm yourself, or anyone else.

Appointments

All initial appointments are 1.5hrs long

 

You can book online for appointments in St Michaels On Wyre, but for appointments at Darcelands, please get in touch for availability.

 

Please attend on time. We realise that life can interrupt the best laid plans and intentions. However, if you are late your appointment will finish at the expected time, and cannot be extended – this is so that following clients receive the time and attention they have paid for. If it is your first appointment please bring with you all registration documentation unless you have already provided these prior to your appointment.

If you are a new patient we will endeavour to call you prior to your appointment day - just to check in and answer any questions. This contact is not charged.

Payments

You will be required to pay for each appointment at time of booking. Should you need to cancel your appointment you will receive a full refund if the cancellation is received at least 24 hrs before the appointment. This is to support the practice to remain viable and to create as many opportunities for people to access help as possible - we thank you for your support and understanding. You will be asked to provide details of your health provider and we encourage you to keep them informed of all health concerns ongoingly.

Clothing

You will keep on all your clothing at all times. However, please wear clothing that is comfortable, clean, and in which you can move around comfortably. Sometimes leg muscles are tested and involve lying down with legs elevated etc. Please keep this in mind when selecting clothing. Yoga/exercise pants are a good idea for flexibility, comfort and ease of movement.
