Judith Clark
Judith Clark is an experienced Addiction Treatment Manager, Therapy Coordinator, Trainer and Service Manager within Criminal Justice Services, Victim Services, Private and State Hospitals. Having worked for some of the most renowned treatment centres in the UK and Australia she now brings a wealth of experience and opportunity to the private sector and the people of Lancashire and surrounds.
She is the founder of the 'Beyond Addiction' treatment programme and has developed unique 'user friendly' services for Inpatient and Community settings.
As a recovered Agoraphobic and having lived with crippling anxiety and panic attack she used her personal recovery journey to identify the mirror between 'fear avoidance' and the 'addiction' to escape through substance use. This journey is explored in her recent book 'Recovery: Out in the Open' published by Austin Macauley, London.
